About the Wakulla Genealogy Group
The Wakulla Genealogy Group is a group of people that "love" genealogy. They meet the first Thursday of each month at the Wakulla County Public Library at 6:30 p.m. They also meet in the computer lab at the library on the third Thursday of the month for individuals to work on their own family research.
The group tries to teach people how to search for their roots. A class was taught this past summer by Renee' Parrish called "Unpluzzing Your Past", and about 30 people attended. Each monthly meeting covers a different subject about how to do research, places to look for different documents, etc.
Most of the people who come to the meetings are from the Wakulla County Historical Society, but you do not have to be a member of the Historical Society to attend; all are welcome.

The March meeting will be on the 6th and guest speaker "Bunk" Bunkley, member of the Mayflower Society, will discuss his Mayflower ancestors and the heritage book he has had published on his family.
