Big Bend Hospice Tree of Remembrance 2007 in Wakulla County
"We are all like one-winged angels. It is only when we help each other that we can fly." ~ Luciano de Crescenzo
It is easy to lose sight of the true spirit of the Holiday season when the countdown of shopping days is dropping and your stress level is rising. We sometimes forget that it is the people in our lives that fill each holiday with the sights, sounds, and warm feelings that stay with us throughout the year. The Tree of Remembrance provides a time to remember and celebrate the lives of those we love and at the same time, helps Big Bend Hospice provide care, comfort and hope to those who are dying.
{sidebar id=1}A gift to the Tree of Remembrance provides a wonderful alternative to traditional holiday gifts. Big Bend Hospice will send a special card announcing your remembrance to family and friends as you indicate on the response card. Each donor will receive a beautiful commemorative ornament to enjoy all year long. All the names of those remembered will be recorded in a Book of Remembrance and published in area newspapers. If you do not want your loved ones name included, please indicate on the response card.
Wakulla County Tree of Remembrance locations are Ameris Bank in Crawfordville, Capital City Bank in Crawfordville, Gulf State Community Bank in Crawfordville, and Wakulla Bank in Crawfordville.
Due to printing deadlines, donations received after December 10, 2007 will not appear in the paper.
Angels
With a $50 donation, Big Bend Hospice will place one of our special angels on the Tree of Remembrance. The name of your loved one or a special message will be attached and the angel will be placed in the location of your choice. This tribute to the enduring power of love is a special memorial for those who will always live in our hearts.
Bells
With your gift of $25, Big Bend Hospice will place a porcelain bell with your personalized message on the Tree of Remembrance in the county and location you specify.
Bows
For a $10 donation, Big Bend Hospice will place the name of your loved one or a message on one of our beautiful bows. These will be placed on the Tree of Remembrance in the location you designate.
