Guardian ad Litem Fundraising Golf Tournament to be Held in October

Child Advocates II, Inc., is hosting a fundraising golf tournament to benefit Guardian ad Litem on Monday, October 13, 2008 at Golden Eagle Country Club in Tallahassee.  Registration will begin at 11:00 a.m., with a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m.

This is event will assist in giving Child Advocates II the ability to help support the children in the Guardian ad Litem program.  CAII is committed to promoting the well-being of abused, abandoned and neglected children in Leon, Franklin, Gadsden, Wakulla, Jefferson and Liberty Counties through volunteer support, fund raising, community awareness and special projects.

A box lunch and beverages will be provided.  An awards reception will immediately follow play in the Plantation Room; heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided.  The tournament wil feature:

Games within the game
Closest to the pin on all par 3’s
Longest Drive
Longest Putt

Format:

Captain’s Choice Scramble:  All players hit their tee shot. The captain selects the best shot and all players hit their second shot from that point.  This format repeats until the ball is in the hole.

Levels of Participation

Platinum Sponsor $2500

Name on flyer, Teams of 4 players, official host of awards ceremony, Time to speak at awards reception, recognition on tournament board, recognition on hole 1 and 18 tees.  Ad or flyer on every cart and on rules sheet and framed appreciation letter.

Gold Sponsor $1500

Team of 4 players, name on tournament board, tee and green recognition on the course, ad or logo on every cart, recognition at awards reception. Framed appreciation letter from Guardian Ad Litem

Team of 4 players $800

Name on tournament board, Tee Recognition, Recognition at awards

Beverage Cart Sponsor $1000

Logo or banner on beverage cart, recognition at registration and awards reception

Hole Sponsor $150
