Wakulla County Sheriff's Office will Host Golf Tournament
{sidebar id=3}For the past several years the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office has hosted fundraisers to raise money to allow employees to attend the Florida Police & Fire Olympic Games in Sarasota, Florida. Their largest fundraiser is their annual Wakulla County Sheriff's Office Golf Tournament. This year the tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Wildwood Golf Course, with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The money raised has made it possible for Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office personnel and area firefighters to attend the Olympic games held throughout the state in different sporting events. Due to the agency’s size, they have teamed up with Tallahassee Firefighters who have the same goals of sportsmanship and fellowship to make one unified team for the games.
The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office is asking local businesses from Wakulla County and the Tallahassee area for some help in donating to their continued participation in the state games. Click here to download and print the registration form to enter the tournament or to become a sponsor.
Games Coordinator Captain Cliff Carroll would like to thank you in advance for your help with the games. If you would like to know more about the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office, visit them on the web at www.wcso.org .
