First Annual FWMA Wildlife Photo Contest is Underway
The 1st Annual FWMA Wildlife Photo Contest is underway! If you love animals and love photography, this is the contest for you!!
Photos will be judged by a panel of local nature photographers and the winner in each category will receive a private tour of FWMA with the opportunity to photographer some of the wild residents up close and personal! Winners will also receive a free ticket to the upcoming FWMA Wood Stork Festival and an FWMA Tee-shirt! A $50.00 Gift Certificate from Tallahassee Camera will be awarded to the overall winner.
Winning Photos will be printed in the Winter Edition of the FWMA Newsletter and displayed at the Wood Stork Festival on Oct 19th at Wooley Park in Panacea. They will also be on display for the month of November at the Inn at Wildwood.
All entries must be postmarked by October 5th. Winners will be notified by Oct 15th.
There are two divisions: Adult and Youth (under 17)
There are three categories: Mammal, Bird and Insect/Other.
{sidebar id=1}You may submit 2 photos in each category. The entry fee for Adults is $10.00 for each category entered. The entry fee for the Youth Division is $5.00 per category entered.
Photos must be 8x10 in size and submitted on a foam board or cardboard backing. Attach a copy of the official photo submission form to the back of each photo submitted. Click here to download the official photo submission form.
Also include if you would like to pick your photo up at the end of the contest or if you would like to donate it to FWMA.
The photos along with a check made out to FWMA for the entry fee must be sent to:
