Capital Region YMCA Facilities Closed Friday, August 22 Due to Bad Weather 

{sidebar id=3}Please note that all Capital Region YMCA facilities (Parkway, Child Development Center, Southwood and Northwest) will be closed Friday, August 22, 2008 due to potential flooding caused by Tropical Storm Fay.  It is our policy to follow school district lead when it comes to these events.

The YMCA does not want to put any members, staff or volunteers at risk by having them drive in potentially flooded streets.  While the severity of the storm remains to be seen, other YMCAs in the effected path will also be closed.

YMCA facilities will re-open on regular scheduled work hours for Saturday, August 23, 2008.
