Join the Friends of the Library this Saturday in front of Winn Dixie from 10-1 as they’ll be selling the tickets for the quilt drawing we’re holding at our Feb. 6 Book Extravaganza. Tickets are $2 and benefit programs here at the Library.
Ask us about the 2010 Census Poster Contest. The First Prize for K-5, 6-8, and High School grade levels is a Nintendo Wi. 2nd place receives a $50 Wal-Mart gift card. The deadline for the posters is this Saturday, January 30. They may be turned in either at the Library of at your child’s school. AARP will begin their annual free tax prep on Tuesday 2/2 at the Library. This program will be held every Tuesday from 4-7 and Saturday from 9:30-12:30 until tax day on April 15. This program is intended for low to middle income taxpayers with special attention to senior citizens.
Computer Classes are in bold and require early registration.
