Women of the Moose Donate to Children's Reading Fund
The Women of the Moose (WOTM) Chapter 2224 donated $200 to Doug Jones of the Wakulla County Public Library during a special meeting on February 23, 2008. The funds will be used for the Children's Reading Program.
Regular Moose Lodge meetings are open to members only, but the WOTM do sponsor several events throughout the year that are open to the public. A community easter egg hunt will be held on March 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Woolley Park in Pancea. Hot dogs will be served following the hunt. A Walk-a-Thon will also be held on the same day for a local nursing scholarship. Anyone interested in walking or sponsoring a walker needs to be at Woolley Park on the morning of March 22.
Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Women of the Moose should call Gloria Rowley or Kathy Pelletier at 984-2510.
