Written by Keith Blackmar, Public Information Officer, WCSO Thursday, 16 August 2012 15:05
The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office will conduct DUI saturation patrols and a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, Aug. 25.
The national Drive Sober of Get Pulled Over campaign to crackdown on impaired drivers will start this week around the country and continue until Labor Day. Approximately six to nine WCSO deputies will take part in the saturation patrol and the Florida Highway Patrol has been invited to participate as well.
The national campaign is sponsored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
