Sandy Moore, May Employee of the Month for the Wakulla County School System, started her career with the Wakulla County School District in 1994, transferring to Riversprings Middle School in 2000 when the school opened.

Moore is a third generation native of Wakulla County, attended school at Sopchoppy Elementary and graduated from Wakulla High School.  Moore states, “The real enjoyment of my job is the involvement with the students and being a part of what this wonderful school system does for the children of our community.  The school system is so much more than a provider of education, it is a big family, pulling together, meeting the needs of children.  I love being a part of that.”

As a bookkeeper, Ms. Moore takes pride in perfect audit reports.  She has also served as the school fundraiser coordinator and on the district calendar committee.

Riversprings Principal Dod Walker adds, “Ms. Moore officially became the Riversprings bookkeeper on the first day of school in August 2000.  From art supplies to zoo field trips she ensures that our financial house is in order.  An ardent Bear fan, she loves the students and teachers that count on her.  She has led the front office through her work ethic and dedication this year.  I appreciate what she does for our school.”
