Mr. and Mrs. Shane Spradley of Moody, Alabama announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Amber Michelle to Tanner Edward Jones.

Amber is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sanders of Odenville, Alabama and Mr. Jimmy Spradley and the late Mrs. Joan Spradley of Leeds, Alabama.  Tanner is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence L. Morrison, Jr., of Crawfordville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Layfette Franklin Jones, Jr. 

Amber is a graduate of Moody High School in Moody, Alabama and received a cheerleading scholarship to Troy University in Troy, Alabama where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems and is currently in the Education Master’s Program.  Amber is employed with the Taylor County School District teaching Language Arts, coaches dance team and majorettes for the Taylor County Bulldogs and is also employed part-time by Taylor Elite Cheerleading Gym.

Tanner is a graduate of Wakulla High School and received a football scholarship to Troy University in Troy, Alabama, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences and a minor in Physical Education.  Tanner is employed with the Taylor County School District teaching American Government, Economics, and Earth Space Science.  In addition, he coaches football and baseball for the Taylor County Bulldogs.

The couple will be married Sunday, July 8, 2012 at The Sonnet House in Leeds, Alabama.
