"Creepy Critters" This Weekend at the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge
Written by Heather Bevis Wednesday, 25 April 2012 13:43
Snakes, spiders and bugs! Oh my! St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge is home to so many exciting creatures – some may call them creepy, but we think they are so cool that we want you to come down and experience them here at the refuge.
On Saturday, April 28, bring your family out to the refuge for some exciting “Creepy Critter” activities. Families will learn about some of the critters that are here at St. Marks and probably even around your backyard! Come any time between 11am and 2pm to the Education Building next to the Visitor’s Center. Snacks will be provided. Drawings will be held for prizes.
Be sure to check out our next Families in Nature program held on May 26, 2012 for “Water Wonders”. For more information, please contact the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge at (850) 925-6121.
