Volunteer Needed to Serve on Northwest Florida Transportation Corridor Authority for Wakulla

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking one (1) member to volunteer to serve on the Northwest Florida Transportation Corridor Authority (NWFTCA).
The Authority consists of eight voting members appointed by the Governor to a 4-year term including one member each from Escambia, Santa Rosa, Walton, Okaloosa, Bay, Gulf, Franklin, and Wakulla Counties. The Florida Department of Transportation District 3 Secretary serves as an ex-officio, nonvoting member.
The BOCC is seeking one (1) member who must be a citizen of Wakulla County and shall include the following:
Experience and/or knowledge of the US Hwy 98 Corridor, transportation projects, and economic development along the coast.
Interested persons should submit a brief statement explaining their interest in serving on the Northwest Florida Transportation Corridor Authority along with a resume or other statement of relevant experience which includes the person’s name, address, and a contact telephone number no later than Monday, May 7, 2012.
