Wakulla Chamber to Host 2nd Annual Low Country Boil in March
Written by Petra Shuff, Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce Friday, 13 January 2012 11:53
The Wakulla Chamber of Commerce Special Events Fundraising Committee is gearing up for our 2nd Annual Low Country Boil, and is pleased to announce a premier sponsorship by Capital City Bank and The Wakulla News.
This evening of fun and great food will take place at 3Y Ranch in Crawfordville on Saturday, March 10th, 2012, from 6 to 10 p.m. The event will feature a Low Country Boil dinner, and live music by JB’s Zydeco Zoo, whose fun, danceable music appeals to all ages and all tastes.“We are excited to sponsor this community event again, and once more enjoy a little taste of the Southern Low Country” says Amy Geiger, Community President, Capital City Bank. “Continuing with our pledge to support education, part of the proceeds from the event is again earmarked to support Wakulla County students through scholarships. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will enable us to continue restoration and furnishing of the Historic Wakulla Courthouse; the only wooden courthouse still in use. Last year’s event sold out with an overwhelming response. We anticipate this year’s event to exceed your expectations."
Sponsorship packets are available from the Chamber office 926-1848, or our website at http://wakullacountychamber.com >events. For tickets contact the Chamber office (850) 926-1848.
We would like to thank you in advance for your support of our Annual Low Country Boil, and your support of education, and the preservation of our heritage! Please do not hesitate to contact us at 850-926-1848 with any questions.
