WATERS JOURNEY:  Following the Water to Wakulla Springs

Guided tour following the journey of water as it flows underground from Tallahassee through the longest and deepest cave system in the world to Wakulla Springs.  Tour led by noted biologist, Jim Stevenson, retired chief naturalist of Florida’s state parks for 20 years. 

Car caravan/hiking tour departs from the TCC Tallahassee campus parking lot and ends at Wakulla Springs State Park with 9 stops of interest along the way including lakes, sinkholes and the wastewater treatment plant.

Proceeds to benefit two local non-profit organizations working to protect Wakulla Springs.  $18 per person.  Spaces limited.  Registration required @ www.PalmettoExpeditions.com or 850-926-3376.
