Wakulla.com spoke to members of the Senior Class of 2011 this past Wednesday, May 11, and asked them to share some of their feelings and thoughts about their last year at Wakulla High School. This is what they had to say...
Who was your biggest influence during high school and why?
||Chase Corbin - "My cousin, parents and teachers."|
||"My mom, boyfriend, and teachers, as well as friends; couldn't have lived without them."|
||"My mom. She passed away before she got to see all my accomplishments so I tried really hard for her!"|
Chelsea Dix-Kessler - "Mom. She really pushed me and got me to the point I'm at now."
||"Mother. She has pushed me to my hardest and has been supportive."|
||"My sister. She has influenced me and helped me through every turn; I love her!"|
||"Mrs. Hunter Tucker. I was able to have her every year because of Yearbook... but she was always there to be a listener as well as someone to give me great advice."|
||Morgan Lawrence - "My brother and Ms. Sally Jones."|
||"My whole family, teachers and coaches."|
||"Grandpa, because he pushed me even when I was ready to give up!"|
||"Mom, because she gave good advice and was very positive."|
||Marcquez Quarterman - "My mom and my best friends/brothers."|

||"Tabitha Nelson. She taught me that friends and family are very important."|
||"My mom because she always pushed me to do my best."|
Shelby Bunce - "My parents. They were the ones to push me, and do everything they could to make me the person I am today. I love them!"

||Jeremy Allen - "Mrs. Solburg."|
||"My boyfriend. He made sure I balanced life, school, and work. I'd be lost without him."|
||"Mrs. Murphy because you learn so much from her in all different ways. Plus she would do anything for her students."|
|Brandon Carden||"Rance McBratney; he got me started in football and keeping my grades up."|
Kelso Alyea - "I would definitely say my mom... she was always there when I needed someone to talk to... and always knew what to do."
|Robert Freeman||"The home work. Made me realize I didn't want to stay here any longer than I had to."|
||"My biggest influence was my grandmother. She has helped me tremendously. Had it not been for her I would not have found God. ALSO Mrs. Hilly Slater for being my "bestest" friend. I enjoyed our conversations and her wisdom."|

Tyler Corbett - "Both my parents and family because they gave me the most motivation."

||"My biggest influence during high school was my dad. During the summer after my freshman year he passed away just as I was about to start Band Camp."|

Greg Payne - "My dad. He pushed me."

||Taylor Eglton - "Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Millender and Mr. Smith. They have helped me and guided me in the right direction."|

||"My friend Georgia Danzey. She influenced me to take a break every now and then and taught me that skipping isn't always bad."|
|Tanner Cash - "My mother! She was always there to motivate me and supported me in whatever I did."
