Talk O' The Town Deli Now Open; Celebrates with Ribbon Cutting
On September 9, 2009 Geri and Scott Yamrose, owners of Talk O’ The Town Deli celebrated the ribbon cutting of their new business. As local Wakulla County residents, Geri and Scott are proud to be members of the Wakulla Chamber of Commerce, and proud to do business here in the county.
The new deli opened for business in early August and has been going strong since. The deli features BIG overstuffed sandwiches, cold, grilled, and Panini style, with many different fillings to appeal to all taste buds. For those who like a lighter lunch, they have ice cold salads with an array of toppings. They have fresh homemade deli salads, such as red skin potato, macaroni, and cole slaw. For you thirsty folks, they have plenty of sweet tea and bottled beverages. Plus, fresh baked cookies!! Bring the kids as there is also a kids meal!!
The deli features a well lit, friendly atmosphere, with great a/c to beat the heat. The wall of nature photography, by local artist Jeff True has caught the eye of many, with his familiar landmarks and local wildlife.
Watch for the "Weekly Special" sign outside the restaurant for new and exciting sandwiches!! And coming in October, the deli will feature freshly made soups.
Stop by for a quick lunch or an early dinner. They are located at 2500 Crawfordville Hwy. across from El Jalisco. You can call ahead at 926-3500 or fax 926-3501 to have your order ready to pick up. The hours are:
